Only seeing 10-13psi at wot

I have a full exhaust rebel intake 2.8 60s and meth and custom tune.

I am only seeing 10 to 13 pounds at wot in second and third gear. My boost gauge is good cause my interceptor says the same thing.

Anyone else had similar issues?

Forgot to mention this just recently happened. When I got it tuned I was hitting 17-18psi..

Bump

It could be. How would I tell if it was clogged?

clogged cat would cause you to see higher boost. more restriction, and your exhaust would be quieter.

boost bypass valve not working properly?

shouldn't be belt slip with a 2.8

So what would determine which it is?

you could do the old boost bypass mod to see if it is the bypass valve as it would restore boost. not advised to run it all the time but i wouldnt see the issue with blocking it off for a couple pulls

^^^x2. bypass will rule out a few things. ecu uses that to pull boost when IAT2 reaches a certain temp, could be just a bad solenoid or actuator.

if it was belt slip, your boost would peak then jump off, or bounce around abruptly

So I should replace my bypass valve?

How do I do the bypass mod?

get a piece of vacuum hose and bypass it, if it fixes the problem then replace it, if not move on to another suggestion

then check the blower rotors for wear, check for boost leaks around the manifold

if you still cant find the problem, compression test time...

so on my way home i did a quick pull and i am still only seeing like 10psi and it sounds like my blower whine is 'studdering' .. like not extremely but it definitely sounds different. sounds like a sprinkler.. any ideas?

it may be covered under warranty, but a dealership or a gm parts website should have it.

I dunno some have run it forever... but I would look at replacing it! Either, just buy one from the dealer or do some interwebz searching!
