Lovely story guys... Im allways stating on how people never want to race around here but did I ever get a run last night!!

Ok, so I just finished gasing my car at the local Sunoco and im at a light with two lanes open so I get in the one where the lane is closing (so im allways first anyways right?) Light turns green so I take off just cruising and keep in mind my lane is about to close so I prepare to make a lane change from right to left before the lane ends and then a 300C Hemi comes up beside me and clearly does NOT want to let me in so I downshift in second and land about 5000rpm and shift nice in 3rd and start pulling him just to barely make the lane change.. At this point I want to kill him but at the same time im overcome with Joy. I notice him trailing me like 10 cars behind acting like he wasent racing me (clearly he was giving it to the max). He followes me all the way to the high way and then im like oh he must not want to race anymore hahaha so im still crusing at like 105km/h posted limit is 100... Anyways he starts kreeping up on me as soon as he comes up beside me and then starts to pass me. At this point im like basturd" didnt want to wait so I drop in 3rd and handed his ass... When I got off at my exit he proceded with a flyby and put his parking lights on! What a loser huh? Did you guys think he had a good chance or was I too much for him?

 

nice kill. i think he was going, he didn't have the SRT verson with the 6.1 i'm guessing.

 

Naw just the Hemi. I wouldnt of tried cutting him off if he had.

no hes not, the guy wouldnt let him by and the lane was ending

 

are you stock? if so then i dont think he was racing. those things are nothing to mess with even if it just the regular 300C hemi. if he was racing, good kill man, i have only messed with one and he was pulling me

 

Doesn't matter. The guy in the Hemi had the right of way. He didn't have to let him in front of him.

I'm just Biased I guess cause I've gotten a ticket for doing that to someone.

 

I was suprised when he was there so I just gunned it. I was cocky that night what can I say. 340 engine horse power with all that weight cant be much faster then ours can it? I can concur he was giving it cuz I could hear the dame thing howl. I was wide open and he was staying right beside me. I barely made it lol when i started to pull slighlty i knew i had time. What pissed me off is that he put his victory lights just to **** me off! argh lol but its all fun and games.

he just sucked... he beat you. didn't you see is flashers.

 

yeah i raced one of these a while back...i won the fiirst race by barely a car lenght, but thats because he wasnt manually shifting the car with the tiptronic (or whatever theyre called)....and he lost some time when the car downshifted....however the second third and forth race i got beat...not by much, but i still lost by a consistant margin each time...its not impossible to beat in some situations, but if the guy knew what he was doin, he probably wouldnt have lost....either way though nice kill...im 1-3 against the 300C

 

We compete with the hemi powered cars due to weight and automatics. 0-60 times are very comparable. this is a drivers race.

 

It was a great race. I knew the cars were really close. He must of thought I was crazy for taking that chance. I just couldnt see myself braking...
