For Sale: Throttle Body Spacer

Well i was mislead about the throttle body spacer i bought from Cobalt Addiction. It does not hook up to the Devils Own Meth Kit. So i have a brand new, never used, spacer with gasket and longer throttle body bolts that im selling for $50. Local sale only.

opps forgot to metion the spacer has a tapped hole in it. So its the spacer with tapped hole, 4 longer bolts and gaskets that arent required because there is a stock gasket on the throttle body.

it doesn't hook up to your kit? i thought that all tb spacers that were tapped were "universal" for meth kits

thats what i was told. But the way the nozzle is for the Devils Own kit, it doesnt screw into the hole of the spacer. Had to drill a hole in my CAI.

The nozzle wasnt long enough to fit through the hole and attach to check valve

You tried to install the check valve after the nozzle?

i dont think you did your meth install right. when you put the 'nozzle' into your intake or whatever, you shouldn't see it like at all. it barely clears it. i drill/tapped my intake to screw it into and i can't see my nozzle if i look into the intake. if u know what i mean anyway

i think he ment when he screwed the nosel into the tb spacer the nosel was not flush on the inside, to make a wide spray..

so it didn't go in far enough i guess? i mean, it really shouldn't go in too far.. with the AIS kit it only going in a little ways.. TB spacers are rather thick and i wouldnt think it'd go all the way into it.

The 3lb/hr spray nozzle wouldnt attach to anything in the tb spacer...it also looks like the check valve hooks to the other side of the spacer which it does. So after having 4 guys at the shop telling me its the wrong type of spacer I got james to drill a hole into my intake and the nozzle is the only thing in the intake, like you said its pretty flush. I have my meth running, its going good. Its just now i have a spacer that is useless to me.

just the way the nozzle is. its hard to explain but if you go on cobalt addiction and look at the pic of how the nozzle of the meth goes into the spacer and then go on devils own site and look at there nozzle, its 2 different types. So keep that in mind when you buy a meth kit.

OTT has a tb spacer, or you can just save yourself the money and just drill a hole in the intake. I didnt want to at first incase i ever sell my CAI, but meh, i dont care anymore...meth works awesome and im not tuned to its full power yet.

The only reason I didnt tap the intake was incase I needed to take the car in for warranty work. The TB spacer comes out pretty easily and leaves no visible marks on the car.
