there was a reason why they didn't come with a remote start out of the factory. i would not recommend putting it an any Manual drive car. your supposed to leave it in gear when you park. if you some how jerry rig it to remote start, your car will shudder and stall every-time. if you leave your car in neutral all the time, not a safe bet, especially on a hill.

thats probably why no one has responded... if you do get it working, let us know how it goes.

Not to mention, the Cobalts (or at least the two we've owned) don't have the world's best Hand Brake. Another reason to leave it in gear when you're parked..

yo guys i figured out the remote start system all u need is one relay .. with my compustar alarm/rms system the status output wire was neg "might be diff with other systems" ran that to 85. on the relay 12vc to 86 and 87 the yellow wire in the clutch needs to see a positive signal to start so run 30 to that .. the system works great as long as it has a neutral safty switch u will be able to work it fine .. i do reccomend upgrading the tiny 10 amp fuse cause that was the only prob that i had was it blew the fuse.. its on the bcm passanger side..
