the only thing i can think is that ur filter is wet causing not as much air to flow to the supercharger.. should be fine though as long as u didnt get a CEL and arent noticing a loss in power

water on your rotors possibly?

you WILL suck a gratuitous amount of water without a hydroshield

I had to replace a MAF that was completely water logged and dry out the intake pipe and TB, which were soaked after a couple days of rain after I first put my AEM on.

It really depends on the car, every one will be different. I had entirely too much water getting in there though.

stock airbox still gets water inside of it and soaks the filter

ask me how I know.... lol

GM finally released a bulletin on this issue and advised that you drill holes in the bottom of the box lid

so even the stock setup gives you a wet filter even if you avoid puddles

my setup is about as good as I'll get with the filter being in the fender.....Hydroshield is definitely FTW

not true.. the only way ur goin to suck in water is if you go in the boost with an AEM or another dry filter.. Thats why you go with injen or another oiled filter that doesnt soak all the water up like the AEM does.

No, it will get wet under vacuum too. I tried everything, I just had to get rid of the AEM and put the stock covered box back on..
