Unhappy Possible for computer to limit boost?

This whole problem is very confusing... I am only seeing 10PSI (60% boost) under a WOT pull. Running a 2.8, meth, and 60's. Along with a custom HPtune. I have tried replacing the bypass solenoid (right of the evap) and it didn't fix it.

Although, if I run the bypass mod, I am at 100% boost again.... Also, if I unhook the battery, let it set for a few minutes then hook it back up I get full boost again for like 3 or 4 pulls then it's back at 10. sounds like my s/c is studdering almost.

Is it possible for the vehicles computer to limit boost on it's own without showing up on hp tuners? I have an 07 btw..

Thanks for any help.

Do you have an aeroforce scan gauge or some way to monitor IAT2?
The computer will pull boost if the IAT2's get way up there I belive the 170 area but I don't a stage 2 tune nearby to verify the actual number (at work right now). You may have a dead intercooler pump. I'd check that first because it woulf make sense why your boost goes away after pulling the battery. Does it limit boost when you first turn it on in the morning?

yes it limits the boost all the time. my interceptor never reads over like 120 after any pull... my intercooler pump is good, just replaced it like a few thousand miles ago. car is tune so it kicks on when i turn my ignition on. my tuner said he wants to try flashing a tune closer to the stage 2 tune back into my car and see if that fixes it. he said it might have to do with my car not "wanting" to take the tune..

If you really think it's the computer not wanting to "take" the tune, have them do a full write. That'll force it to. I've never heard of that before.

I'm still pretty sure it's a hardware problem. You may have a rotted boost hose or something else loose. Our car will not bleed boost unless it's limited in HPT, and even then that's only 1st and 2nd.
