really lol if i had to give advice i would say avoid that stuff like the plauge! thats the reason i can't get my lights fully apart again i used it originally and the stuff dried hard so when i hit bumps it all cracked and caused my orginal leaks... i ended up getting it sealed with 100% silicon from GE i think it was windows and doors or something lol ... aparently that means headlights as well :P

take them out oven bake them at 200F for 30 mins then take a plastic spoon (lol mcgiver style) and break it right after the spoon part so you have jagged plastic... scrape out all the old stuff with that its not hard enough to scratch the lights but gets the silicon out like butter... lol then just make sure u clean the edges really good with 99% rubbing alcohol let them dry 30 mins or so to be safe then lay a nice thick bead of 100% silicon that aught to do the trick! atleast it did for me :P
