Life Expectancy of an aftermarket clutch

I'm going to be in the market for a new clutch since my oe one is starting to become mushy and I think it's slipping a bit. Now I want to go with the Spec Stage 2+ clutch. My brother tells me that aftermarket clutches don't last as long as oe clutches (which I can't see since my clutch is going to last me only 9,000 miles). So I have a question:

How long would a Spec Stage 2+ clutch last me? 30,000 miles? I would not have that much power, only 3 inch pulley, intake, exhaust, and header.

I agree. The reason it seems a lot fo aftermarket clutches don't last is because people are using them in more aggressive driving situations.

alot of people think the clucth is a champ and the first thing they do is beat the shizzle out of it! that is why clutches get mushy lol beat on it sparingly and it should last a long long time!

Well i'm not beating on my oe clutch anymore. I'm going to wait for it to go. I think I should get an easy 2,000 more miles out of it if not more. Today is the first day I really noticed a big difference. Also, I learned stick on this car. That probably cut the life on the clutch in half too.

I don't get it though. On my friends mini cooper s, 4 people learned stick on it. My friend, his 2 sisters, and his mom. He has over like 15,000 miles and the clutch grabs good still. Of course the car is stock but 4 people? Either they all got the hang of driving a stick real fast or our clutch just sucks *****.
