Q on charge piping and intake cooling

Anyone tried tacking Peltier junctions on the cool side of the charge piping, to bring down the temp of the piping?
Might also work on the IC's. Would be best with a good heat-transfer pad/paste, similar to what you'd use to attach a heatsink to a CPU, for maximum thermal transfer.

I assume because of condensation due to the temp change, it'd be preferable to do it at or before the IC, to minimize water getting into the intake, but I've used 2" square Peltier junctions to cool an entire 75g marine aquarium, with temp drops of 10-15 degrees.

Never heard of anyone doing something like this on a car, just get a big intercooler.
Or switch to an air/water cooler where you can possibly add peltiers like you described inline with the water tank/cooler.
