SEARCH! Nothing out yet and too much development still needs to be done until otherwise. celicacobalt 04-04-2006, 10:20 AM are you custom building a kit for yourself? if so i say go witha gt28rs ball bearing turbo and a sparco intercooler that measures the right size to fit then have a shop do all the piping for you, if you want a kit then youll have to wait for hahn racecraft which should be out this month or next i think g5mike 04-04-2006, 01:57 PM i have to agree with celicacobalt this one will spool up quickly, and if you have the 2.2 you can expect hp gains in the mid 200hp range Vetteman99 04-04-2006, 08:16 PM If you don't have a turbo or super charger would a intake do any thing:guns: mike25 04-04-2006, 08:20 PM If you don't have a turbo or super charger would a intake do any thing:guns: yea the cai just pulls more cold air into it to cool it down so you could see about 10 hp gain 97CIVIC 05-08-2006, 01:25 AM Wait For The Hahn Turbo Coming Soon! Also ball bearing turbos include more maintenance. If you have to replace the whole cartridge, you might as well buy a new turbo for the price it's going to cost you. Sure, they spool slightly faster but it's nothing that you are guaranteed to need. And you mean Spearco intercoolers...not Sparco. Any decently made intercooler will work fine...you can find them on ebay for a dime a dozen. EDIT: If you have a problem with a ball bearing turbo, good luck finding a place that will fix the issue cause alot of shops don't deal with them. NJHK 05-08-2006, 03:28 AM yea the cai just pulls more cold air into it to cool it down so you could see about 10 hp gain You really shouldn't give people guestimations of power increases. Best answer you can give someone is to put it on and dyno it. NJHK 05-08-2006, 03:32 AM i have to agree with celicacobalt this one will spool up quickly, and if you have the 2.2 you can expect hp gains in the mid 200hp range The turbocharger itself isn't what determines your power gains...so you in reality can't EXPECT mid 200 HP by just putting a turbo on. The amount of PSI you're running, the size of the turbo and your a/f mixture are the biggest factors of how much power you'll gain. Also, spool timing...if you're worried about spool timing, match a turbo to your motor properly. If you don't know how to, get a compressor map and learn how to read one. The turbo itself really depends on what you're looking for as far as spool timing, RPM range and efficiency. As far as the intercooler, any decently made intercooler will work fine.
