INTENSE Cobalt sets another record!!!!!!

Went to the opening tuesday night drags, track sucked as usual this early in the year

Only 2 changes this time were a 2.6 and JBP lower control arm bushings. First off, NO wheel hop at all with the JBP bushings!!!!! Still need the tranny mounts beefed up though for the shifting.

Best 60's were with wheelspin ALL the way thru 1st!!!!! If i bogged it and took off w/o spinning, et sucked. Worst of the night was 13.49, several 13,42's but here are the best,

60' 1.98

330' 5.63

1/8 8.59@83.16

1000' 11.13

1/4 13.27@ 104.48!!!

Getting there, slowly but surely! I beat an LS1 camaro, mustang, a few SRT's, EVO. What fun!!

Freaking awesome, those are the times IM looking for. The bushings, how do they feel for normal driving?

Congrats! I cant wait to start hitting the track. Would you agree that the bushings are the most effective way to reduce wheel hop? next being the tranny mount?

How much boost are you running with the 2.6 pulley. Any idea how much more HP/TQ you are getting from switching from the 2.8 to the 2.6? How's the A/F lookin on that thing?

Awsome times man.... i see high 12s knocking on your door.

I LOVE those 60' times. That is what I am all about. Are you still running on the same set of Hoosier tires?

26x9.5x16 Hoosier QTP's. On a good track they hook good enough to break something. Well see what happens at IDD7!!

How was your LSD on the burnouts? Did one still seem to spin more than the other?

It worked a little better today. I staggered the air pressure so it must have helped.

The clutch feels better than ever now!!!

Congrats! I thin with some fine tuning when available, you'll be in the 12's without a hitch!

Good deal on the LSD, as for the clutch, must've been from beating it up powershifting

Just with tuning alone, on your current setup, you'd have 12's. C'mon HP Tuners!!!
