Apexi turbo timer install?
Well before you install it, remember that there is absolutely no need for a turbo timer for 99.9998% of the owners out there. The turbocharger uses a water cooled center section which is primarily used to help cool the turbo down after the engine is shut off (the water circulates through the turbo's center section due to a convection type effect after shutdown and will help dissipate heat). But the biggest single thing that will help extender the turbocharger's service life has already been done and that was to specify a fully synthetic motor oil that won't coke and break down as easily as a conventional motor oil.
If you constantly hammer the car and are in full boost and immediately come to a full stop and turn off the car, and do that every day, a timer might help service life of the turbo. But you'll probably kill many other things on the car abusing it like that before the turbo dies. Just take it easy and try to keep out of boost the last minute or two of your drive and you'll be fine, and if you ever do track the car and push it really hard just let it idle for a minute or two if needed prior to shutdown. For daily driving and even moderate track use even that shouldn't need to be done. By avoiding a turbo timer you also won't have to worry about electrical gremlins or other problems that might pop up later on due to its installation.
If you decide you still want to install it, I'd start with the A'PEXi installation procedures and get a copy fo the factory service manual/wiring diagrams for the car. And make sure to properly splice and solder all electrical connections to minimize the chance of issues later on.
