Unplug Narrowband?

Noob question:

If I unplug the narrowband sensor to plug in a wideband, will my computer turn into POWER REDUCE mode?

bump I am interested in this also, and to add to the question could you replace it and get the wide band reading (my example with my dashhawk)

Closed.

Open loop takes place during a short O2 warmup period and during WOT.

Book suggestion: Engine Management / Advanced Tuning by Greg Banish. Good buy on Amazon and a real good read.

And im not sure if this is what one of u is trying to do but you can not get any sort of Wideband reading from a narrowband source. you need to drill another o2 bung.

open loop when the car is just warming up(dumping a ton of fuel), as soon as the cat and o2 sensors are warmed up to operating temps, it goes into closed loop
