removing rear wing?????

removing rear wing?????

Hey im new to the web site and I have a 07 cobalt ss/sc and I am interested in removing rear wing? i know there are four nuts holding on but i was curious as to the difficulty of removing the addhesive holding it down aswell??

Heat gun and patience will get it done, goo gone seems to be the choice for getting the residue off.

Filling the holes after.....thats another story.

yeah the sticky crap is real strong!! i did alot of pulling and tugging on it to get mine off. took about 30mins of wiggling it. lol!

there is a how-to on debadging, pretty much the same concept as far as the adhesive goes. a heat gun works but will bubble the paint if not careful, i use a hairdryer for that, scrape it off with a used credit card or fishing line. goo gone to get the little stuff, then use some body scrub on the rest..
