Vulcan

Has anyone used their intake manifold yet? Has anyone ever even bought anything from them. Did you get it in reasonable time? Just wondering if he is doing worth buisness with. He used to go under the name Exploited racing ( I know this cause i went to the shop today). The J-body guys seemed to have gotten taken for their money. Any input, good or bad, will help.

I spent $800 dollars with them and got everything promised with no problems, and if you read until the end of that thread, mr vulcan himself showed up to iron out the issue. I did not purchase the intake though so i can't comment on that, just my 2cents.

I find it very sad that someone is trying to start so much drama from nothing... he came out asking to have some exhaust work done because he was unhappy with another local shop, says he'll come in friday, i offered him a loaner car while the work is being done, then turns around to back stab our business to no end. If he would kindly look around the forum we are very well known for our products, our manifolds are used on MOST turbo setups accross this board. Any issues with customers we have we resolve right away. The case with USMCFieldMP is being displayed in a completely wrong manner.. We immediately offered to repair the part for free since it had made it out with our previous employees work put into it (or lack of). He refused to send it back for repairs, he insisted we refunded him in full and allow him to keep the products!!! Once i posted up my proposed resolution in that thread USMCFieldMP failed to respond in any way, nor did he ever send his manifold back to be repaired as i requested him to. Other than his issue, there hasnt been any other complaints in the last 2 years we been doing this. So why is he so upset and going around slandering our business? Every customer has gotten what they paid for, and they got it... FAST!! To date we have had ZERO manifolds crack or fail in any way.

Justin... consider your Friday appointment canceled. I wish not to conduct business with a person such as yourself. Any orders via internet placed by you, will be canceled and refunded. Beeyond Engineering will gladly accept your money. Thanks!

Well, when you have a past like yours, I guess I would get mad to. YOU STOLE FROM ME. I thought it might have been you when we met again, but wasn't sure. Now I know. You stole alot of peoples money. They now have your phone number and address. See you soon

Mr. Vulcan himself is Brian. Don't let him fool you. Call the shop number on his website. It's Brians personal cell phone.

the last portion of this is uncalled for, PMs are there for a reason....

as for the ucmsfield thread....there are two sides to every story, he has the right to tell people about his experiance and others have the ability to show about thiers, let it speak for itself, if you are truly a standup company (i dont know you so i have no idea) then your rep from others will outway this one thread.

Now here is the problem as i discovered through PM's, Justin heard somewhere that I personally had broken into his car and stolen from it years ago!! I suppose i would be mad at a company as well if i thought that someone there had done something along those lines... and again, Justin that is not my cell phone number. We have a land line number.

Ive tried to explain to him NUMEROUS times now that he has his facts incorrect, but he insists it was me that stole from him!!! He even has claimed that a "free lsj intake manifold" would make him happy....

So i now assume he is attempting to slander our business in an attempt to receive free products under the assumption that i had stolen from him as he claims to have been told. What everyone is seeing here is someone attempting to use false information to get free products in result of trying to ruin our businesses reputation.

And also justin... most everyone here already knows my name is brian.....

Yea thats nice, except when i got robbed i heard from everyone i knew a different list of people who robbed me... so it couldnt have been all of them!

For what it's worth, I've had great business dealing with Vulcan Turbo. With any business, there's always a few products that come out looking questionable. It happens with the small businesses and it happens with the big guys. Hell, if you don't believe me, ask Hahn about their turbo intake.

The difference is what the company offers to do to remedy the situation. Vulcan has already offered to fix the product at no cost and no questions asked. Sounds like the guy got pissed and refused, for what reason I have no clue, I would at least want my stuff fixed. Now it looks like he truly is going to get the short end of the stick, but the hurt he's doing making Vulcan a bad name is what hurts even more.

Besides Vince from Trifecta, I don't think I've dealt with any other merchant that was as helpful and easy to do business with as this guy, so please cut him some slack. If he did me wrong in any way I'd be the first to shout it out on here.

If everyone here would have read the PM about the manifold, They would see that i don't want anything from you. Everyone can go j-body.org and type in exploited racing and see that you took thousands of dollars from people who got nothing in return. I know that you broke into my car, or had something to do with it because you told someone that you did. What you didn't know is that they are a friend of mine. If you wouldn't have left the above post, I would have let it go. I didn't bring our beef to this website. You did. I only asked the opinions of these guys because i was considering you make my charge pipes. What i know about you isn't hearsay. It's fact. My friend has one of your original manifolds that the slag from your uncleaned MIG welds, broke free and smoked his motor. Since you are a vendor here, these people have the right to know your shady past, even if you have changed. Now, let it go.

Please, Everyone. Go to j-body.org and look him up. That isn't his word against mine, thats alot of peoples word against his. It sounds like he has changed, but it's worth checking it out before you decide to do buisness with him. Vulcan is owned and operated by Brian and only Brian

And no im not the only person here. You were here just a few days ago while everyone else was here too... Again your still just trying to say anything and everything to give us a bad reputation. Just drop it... and stop asking me for your necklace.. I dont have your necklace, and i never had your necklace! I did not break into your car, i did not ever break into any cars! Are you sure your "friend" was telling you the truth? When i was asking people about who broke into my shops my friends claimed that someone TOLD them they did it... they were all wrong.

Don't let this kid fool you. It is Brian and only brian ruuning the show at Vulcan. I don't have anything to gain from ruining you. I'm not trying to ruin you. I just want everyone to know that you stole alot of money from people, and that even though you might have turned over a new leaf, you still have some part of you that might do it again.

You know what guys, this thread is getting out of hand and ALOT of personal info is being thrown around. Yes we do have the right to know if a vendor is shady, BUT there is NO evidence that VULCAN is or has taken anyone's money or practiced poor business tactics, ANYWHERE here or j-body. Now exploited racing is a whole other story, and obviously a whole other business that is NO LONGER in business. People do change, they also learn from their mistakes. So please drop it already. sad, sad, very sad, all of this crap. You know, i'm glad i didn't see this before purchasing my manifold, because i might have passed judgement based on someone elses experience and i wouldn't have got my parts from vulcan. I am happy with my purchases from this company and i'm sure alot of other people are as well.

Thanks faulk!!

And thank you everyone else here for standing up for us knowing were not a crooked company... as a matter of fact im pleased to say that today we shipped about ten pending orders!!! bringing our outstanding orders down to only one person waiting for a tubular ecotec manifold. The only reason its not done is because we are waiting on a tial 44mm wastegate flange. Now please lets let this thread die off... thanks guys!

Is there a good reason why you aren't a supporting vendor here. I'm glad you shipped ten orders, that is your job, right?

I for one remember what went down with Exploited and all the money that was stolen very vividly. So I don't think this thread should be allowed to die. You want it dead, than you'll hafta kill it with business ethic. MAKE people forget about what you did, just changing names and logo's isn't enough.

This is a public forum to educate Cobalt enthusiasts, I have made key purchases based upon things I have learned here, and therefore contribute back to the community as often as I can. If a company I was considering doing business with had this sort of a history I would for damn sure want to know.

So, as it stands, you're not paying a dime to this site, and you're advertising you're new company name everywhere that you can. **** that. Why not address your operations as Expoited Racing, huh Brian? Convince me, and others that we're not in for a repeat of history? I have a vested interest in this community and would prefer not to see it pillaged.
