First Camaro I've seen on a lot, with its younger brother
Was driving for work tonight when we noticed this baby sitting on the lot, next to a Cobalt thats been there for a few weeks. We were all pumped til we read the sticker and it was a V6 automatic, who the hell orders that?! It was loaded with all the other options, sticker price 28,XXX.
Sorry for the crappy cell pics, it was 8 pm and thats all I had.

Soon? Either it is or it isn't. Reviews are out, people are getting their cars. From what I've read, very few people have been disappointed. Expectations for this car are high; I wouldn't really fault it if it doesn't meet them... it is after all made by the General.
"Better" is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone needs 400 hp, and the 6-speed auto is a fairly worthy gearbox. But I hear ya, I'd never get an auto.
I thought I would too, but it really is a beautiful car. I had wanted to stop for the past couple weeks to see what they were selling the balt for, but I completely forgot to check as I was too busy looking at the Camaro. I absolutely love my SS, but the wheels were definitely turning in my head as to whether I could afford one of these. Unfortunately, when I built one I would want it was 34k and thats a tad out of my price range.
The v6 autos are what GM sent to all the dealerships to unvailed. I guess the one we got had the RS package and looks much nicer for that same price. I like it and can't wait for it to get its new stripes on and take for a ride next week. Heres a pic, it isn't the best.

A 304 HP V6 base camaro? Starting at 23,xxx
Oooorr you could get a mustang at 210 horse for 20,xxx starting. Or a 306 HP genesis coupe starting at 25,xxx.
Oh wait, you mean V8 is over rated?
Camaro: 426 hp, $31,040
Challenger SRT8: 425 hp, $42,645 (+Gas guzzler tax)
Mustang GT: 300hp, $27,210
I can't wait to see an SS get on the dyno to see how much Chevrolet did their traditional under-rating of this motor.
