im interested in what people have to say about this... just got back from gm, have 3mil's left on my rotors. ive had the damn thing for less than two years, 41k. already had the original rotors turned, then replaced, and I know its not because of my driving... im done with gm's rotors!.
I def. know brembo is good, but options are great.

3mils as in .0003/three tenthousandths of an inch? or 3 mils as in 3mm/three millimeters?

If its 3mils/.0003" I call BS because ive never met a dealer tech who measure that close, I dont measure that close and never would. The specs arent even that tight.

If its 3mils/3mm then youve got plenty of life left in those rotors, 3mm or rotor is A LOT......

If youre suuuuure its not your driving then switch to some Hawk or similar pads.

If you have to get rotors I vote for Brembo or DBA.

do you have a preference between dba and brembos, maven? those are the two i was considering, as i've warped the hell out of my stock rotors, and the acdelco drilled/slotted replacements.

lol that is only common in cheaply made rotors, its very rare to happen in higher quality rotors. 10x more common to have a regular blank rotor before a good quality slotted and drilled rotor crack

Not really, if you want blanks go Brembo, if you want slots or slots and drilled go DBA
