how to tell what kind of springs I have

I just bought my first cobalt the car is lowered with lowering springs but not sure how i would go about finding the brand they are. red color from the looks if it but that about all i know. Im thinking they may be b&g but want to know for sure.

i dont remember for sure but i can look when i get a chance, they prolly have some really small black writing on it

Tein- Green

Progress- Light Blue

Sprint- Dark Blue

Any others.... google it!

sportlines say eibach on them or sportlines, something like that and it has a number 4.9938

i'm betting they are sportlines because that seems to be the most popular spring choice

H&R are also red. at leats the race springs are. they also have a part number on one of the coils.

h&r's are black... well, the new ones are anyways. just installed a set on a TC just over a week ago.

got under the car and couldnt find any markings on the back springs and the springs had some sort of rubber cover on them making it impossible to see any on the mid section of the springs any ideas? I will probably take off one of the front wheels and look on those springs for markings

i believe its silencer rubber do all kits come with this?

yea the rubber is on there so you don't hear the metal clanking on metal every time you hit a bump
