Stuck Brake Drum
So my brakes are making a super loud squeaking noise and I have narrowed it down to the driver side rear brake drum...I think there is some dirt/debris in there that I want to clean out. Anyways, I get the car jacked up and take the tire off and now I can't get the rear drum "cover" off for the life of me. I have beat it with a hammer and still not a budge...the "safety" clips have been removed from the lugs and the parking brake is off. What can I do to get this thing off? Is there a special tool I should be using? Could I spray some WD40 on there to see if it will loosen anything up (or is that a no no)? The passenger side came off just fine. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.
