tuning in New York (Long Island) Area

Hey guys, i havent been checking the site regularly in a while due to schoolwork and stuff, but now that summers coming im looking to work on my car again...where is the best place around me long island, new york area to get a nice tune for my cobalt ss/sc wit staGE 2 gmpp exhaust and intake. thanks

Dude im goin for a tune soon aswell i found a great place to tune its in jersey they are called ttperformance pm me if you want some more info these guys are known the work on mostly gm ! Im talking about crazy corvettes and i think they were in a mag once for a cobalt !

ya ive talked to paul in the past didnt know if he still did them... i wasnt sure tho if a dyno tune would be better....also i dont have a wideband for a/f ratios.... is the one in jersey tunetime??

Your best bet would be to purchase hptuners and then learn how to do your own tuning or find a friend who can teach it to you, or even buy a tune from someone.

Moral of the story if you buy hptuners you walk away with a program that you will have for life. If you get a tune from a shop you spend roughly the same amount and only walk away with the tune, you can never touch it again.

So if you upgrade your car to a smaller pulley, bigger injectors etc, you have to go back and get it retuned. That sucks man with hptuners you can do it all yourself or with the help of someone.

ooo i got ya...how much is hptuners nowadays

and can u use the same hptuners for the sssc and sstc??

NO ITS TTPERFORMANCE.COM LOOK IT UP ON THE WEB.
THESE GUYS ARE KNOWN I VISITED THE SHOP AND ITS LIKE A WAREHOUSE THEY BEEN IN A BUNCH OF GM MAGAZINES FOR CARS THE HAVE BUILT AND TUNED.
