try this, be at a stop...put it in 5th gear. try to start off, if rpms rise...bye bye clutch

Lol, he should just stall regardless of the clutch or not.

Drive down the road at 20 mph. Put in 5th and floor it.

nope, if the clutch is really bad, its gonna slip and raise the rpms even at a stop. the way you suggested works as well. the general idea is just to stress the power holding capability of the clutch

haha in other words... he wants me to slip my clutch so bad i won't ever be able to drive it again. lol. yeah ill try the 20 mph thing... oh well.. any ways to fix it?

have you ever had to drive with no clutch at all? it sucks soooo bad. lol turn it off coming up to a light, put it in first and as soon as the light goes green, start it to get going again. then just match the rpms with the syncros so you dont have to use the clutch to shift. i hated that work truck so much

haha i never have had to do that.. lol... but i tried the fifth gear thing... and... i just stalled even when i was pushing on the gas pretty hard.. so thats good right?

you might have just glazed the clutch over. drive it easy for awhile, downshift and rev match as well...it helps remove the glaze
