well, i dont get it... alot of canadians are getting their cobalt SS's already

At this time, the SS Cobalt is not available as we anticipate its arrival in June. But in the meantime, here are some features that you might find interesting.

so basically they are telling me i cant get one til june.. yet you guys are getting yours already

i think im going to have to talk to him and find out whats going on

 

i lucked out with my SS as my factory order was light years away from reality BUT the dealership was alotted 1 SS\sc and it was just the way I ordered mine. I told them that I was ready to cancel as I found another dealer who was allotted a black(yellow inserts)one and i was ready to buy that 1. My dealer decided to put my name on their allotted SS and it will be in at months end.

 

Word on the forum is GM Canada didn't order/project enough SS/SC sales and they filled their estimate in 2 months (like Dec 2004).

So unless you can find one at a dealer don't plan on ordering one and expecting it any time soon.

I have been waiting since the beginning of Sept 2004 for my Cobalt SS/SC.

so.. cry then there are two that are coming without a sunroof... which i'll have to see about.. maybe i'll get one and then put an aftermarket in

 

I got the sunroof with the Pre Order promotion back in Sept/Oct 2004. Otherwise I wouldn't get one. Never had one before so I hope I like it.

 

i have never had a sunroof in any of my cars so its a must for me this time

again, im going to talk to the dealer face to face... i need answers!

 

Don't Worry, we are all in the same boat here in Canada. The only people getting the car are the ones buying them off dealerships lots. Every other pre-order car is being pushed back and back, or not being built till June.

well i just got another email from the dealer and he said 4 are coming in may now 1 is spoken for and the rest arnt

i might have to see their stock and put money down

 

I wonder if they think you mean the non-supercharged SS?

 

i dont think so cause if you look at the actual email

he goes on to tell you about the 205 hp in the ss

 

But it doesn't make sense to say the SS (Supercharged) arrives in June, since they're already on the lots now.

 

im thinking certain dealers are getting theirs faster than others

i have yet to see an SS in calgary

good news tho is that i can come in and order one to my specifications and have it for june when they get their alloted ones

 

You may be right that certain dealerships are getting their orders faster than others, but I doubt it. No one that I have talked to in Calgary seems to be expecting any for quite a while. CMP told me a couple weeks back that they have, I think it was, four allotted, but don't expect them, or my pre-order for quite some time. Maybe, if it takes long enough, they will offer it as a 2006 with more standard options, and if i'm lucky, they'll be offering the LSD and Recaro option here.
