looking for long block

hay guys can any one help me track down a le5 long block or used moter with less than 40000 miles also a torque converter from a sport or 2.4 ss I live in memphis thanks

Yeah man, I am actually waiting on two of them from a friend of mine. Wanted to experiment with them. If I end up with to, maybe I could pass one along to you. Ask me in about two weeks. I think one may be coming out of a Cavalier, not sure yet.

:facepalm: The 2.4L engine out of the cavi won't work. Have you looked into a new or refurbished one from GM they aren't that expensive about $2500-$3000 if you know where to look.

i have a le5 from a 2007 cobalt ss with 24000 miles for 1200.00 with torque converter

I suggest Jasper Engines and Transmissions. They come updated with a 3 years 100,000 miles parts and labor warranty. I am a Jasper dealer but their is pry one closer to you as they are everywhere. They have decent prices but you deffinately get your moneys worth.

Can pick them up at a salvage yard for around 5-7hundred aleast that's what they go 4 around my way

Order it on ebay. They are like $400-$700 with low miles on there and all over the place.
