Wondeirng about my times....

I ran a 14.631 with a 2.23 60', trap was 97.19

R/T-.174
60'-2.232
330-6.261
1/8- 9.499
75.71mph
1000-12.295
1/4-14.631
97.19MPH

Now with that 60' i should be in the low 14's =/ shouldnt I?

Could it be that the car only had 900 miles on it? and needs to break in to perform better top end? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmmm... Dont know, you were pretty much right with my times until the 1/8th. Maybe you need to work on a quick shift or something?? Ive never powershifted but im gonna try this friday and see what happens. Other than that, i have no idea.

If you missed the powerband into second gear, then the time would have been a lot lower. If you caught it right, your times and speed would have been higher.

I never shift until right at redline, just gotta get some seat time, and learn your car, and the track your at, and you will get faster, with your 60', you should be running low 14's... thanks INHALE for posting the timeslip.. car # 9357.. how sweet it is 14.111

Practice

The age of the car will not matter that much.

nah with that 60ft and trap your fine don't beat your self up too much. it was only one run also. May sound dumb but when i shift a little slower and smother and don't let the rpms knock around between shifts my traps always like 1-2 mph higher. but when i Wot shift and give it hell i have better et's with lower traps. it may be just me but when you shift to aggressive in these cars with out any kinda motor mount on it it boggles the rpms and boost between shifts.
