Anyone else have this problem? I went from 1st to 2nd at redline, pulled back and the ball came off in my hand. I found the problem to be that some value engineer somewhere thought it would be a good idea to save money by putting splines on the knob instead of threads. Brilliant!

I felt general cobalt was the moat appropriate section AFTER reading this...The top of the page says problems with you NEW 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, and mine is 4 years old with 41,xxx miles that I bought used and is out of warranty, and will never be serviced at the dealer again as long as I own it. Maybe drivetrain will be a better fit...

Anyone else have a broken shifter???

 

Ya i had this problem when I first got mine. I quickly replaced it with a B&M short shifter.

 

I ordered a Hurst the other day...just needed and excuse since I have wanted one for a while
