ok..so i redid the trim inside my 06 ss/sc ... in the process i swapped my silver stock head unit for a black head unit from an 05 ss.. now it is locked and the dealer wants 88 fuckin dollars to simply unlock it.. is there a way that i can unlock it myself? or if someone local can help me im willing to drive a little to solve the problem...also.. the guy said he wasnt sure if it would even work since its an 05 going into an 06 car..will it work for sure?
