im worried my ishaft isnt connected right

im worried my ishaft isnt connected right

k how far up is the ishaft from the rack n pinion? basically where it connects with the one bolt its like a inch or two above the notch in the part it connects please im broke and dont want this to f up and have me drive into a wall

did u have it off???theres a grove where the bolt goes through the shaft and the bolt will only go through the shaft in that spot? so if the bolt is through and tight id say ur fine..hope that answeres it for u

well the ishaft basically is like a clamp to the rack can this be done wrong?

no it only goes on one way and the bolt can only slide through when its in the right spot
