So i did a 70 - 115 mph run last night and was going 115 for about 10 seconds then i get to a light and accelerate and hear a very very loud buzzing noise evertime i accelerate , at idle there is no noise only on acceleration, any clue what it could be ? Any input would help

Tranny? Listen at the bell housing and see if it's coming from there

does the tone change or the rattling get faster as you accelerate?

Well, i will check today and see if i can find a crack or something, the noise is between a flutter and a buzzing, the noise stays the same speed of the buzzing stays the same but it does get louder. Also I think the probably the exhaust manifold gasket is blown too. My first flex pipe blew at 35k and now again , GOD how cheap does gm make stuff lol. Well anyways i tried to determine whether it was a knock or a buzzing so far i stay with the same thought of the buzzing, also it seems like i am losing lots of pressure in the exhuast because on the passenger side you can hear air.

Thanks for the input so far guys

lol

if you can "hear" anything then there's most definately a leak.

check the flexpipe or maybe its a bad gasket.

Thanks i will, the only thing that is scaring me is the buzzing because when the flex pipe blew the last time it didnt sound like that, it just sounded like i was running straight headers lol. And when the gasket blew on my turbo jetta it didnt sound like that either hmmm......

Thanks
