clutch help!!

its not on mine but a buddies of mine. i heard to replace the clutch the transmissions are compressed in. is that true or are they able to be taken out by dropping the bolts out? please help we need to get his car back on the raod.

WTF? Decompress what?

You support the engine and drop the engine cradle out of it and unbolt the transmission like normal and drop it out.

i dont use this that mouch were is that at?

my buddy with a 06 ss/sc his clutch went out and when he did his the trans shop said they have to decompress the trans from the motor, and they could not do it cause they didnt have the tool. i am trying to save my buddy alittle cash and not have to take it to the shop for that.
