View Full Version : Chicagoland Area Graphics Thread
stealththx 04-18-2006, 11:38 PM Well, it seems like there are a few people who might be interested in going to a graphics shop around here and getting stripes, banners, ect. I was just checking to see how many people around here would actually be interested in this. There is no guarantee that it will be cheaper if we all go together but I'll give them a call depending on how many people would be interetsed.

I suggested the idea in the first place, so I'm definitely going. I can guaran-damn-tee that X-Treme Graphics will do a great job, and they'll do it any way you want it. If you don't like how they did it, I'll let you kick me in the balls for making you drive over there.
stealththx 04-19-2006, 06:26 AM Haha I'm going to hold you to it.
joedashow 04-19-2006, 02:01 PM  LMAO I'm not worried.
biohazard 04-19-2006, 11:09 PM do they have green/silver flip-flop
Salth2o 04-20-2006, 02:22 PM I'm in for sure.
Salth2o 04-20-2006, 02:25 PM I also sent sharpss a pm to see if he is interested since he said so on the other thread.
SharpSS 04-20-2006, 02:51 PM I'm interested, yeah!
I will have it done, it's just a matter of when!
Hopefully we can get a decent deal & nudge me to do it soon.
joedashow 04-21-2006, 01:23 AM We need to establish a date... I want to get my banner done! And I think I'll get some eyelids for my car too...!
stealththx 04-22-2006, 04:08 AM Not sure on a date yet. I'm still shopping around for a windshield (Diesel Dummy). I was quoted $610 + Install at Phillips in Frankfort where I bought it. I have the Onstar so I figured it would be more but that is ridiculous. Anyways, after I get the money for that I'll be ready.
Salth2o 04-22-2006, 05:56 PM 610 Damn what is up with your windshield. At that point why not just claim it with insurance. I carry a 250 deductable, but even if it was 500 still that would save you some bucks.
joedashow 04-25-2006, 01:51 AM Yo, stealththx, what's the update on your windshield?
stealththx 04-27-2006, 02:31 AM Still broken lol. I have not had time to call anywhere yet. I am going to grab the yellow pages tomorrow and call on my lunch at work.
stealththx 04-27-2006, 09:41 PM Update on windshield:
Safelite is coming out on Monday to install one for me. $361.50, which isn't bad compared to the stealership's quote of $610 + Install. Stupid Onstar, Stupid electric mirror, and stupid built in sunshade all made it this much. I forgot to include stupid diesel dummy as well.

Well, at least it's almost half of what you were first quoted. So are we looking at next week then possibly?
stealththx 04-27-2006, 11:37 PM It could be possible...I have to plan my budget for this next check and we'll see. I have to take the windshield money out of the savings which is a real kick in the ass.
joedashow 06-03-2006, 06:22 AM So, this completely fell through, huh?
SharpSS 06-29-2006, 02:22 PM I'm still interested!
joedashow 07-01-2006, 05:00 PM ^^^As am I....
The windshield banner I want is only $25, according to an email they sent me. :twothumbs
SharpSS 07-01-2006, 11:41 PM what banner is this?
joedashow 07-02-2006, 06:00 AM "GM Performance Division" , like the badge under the hood of the car. I think it would look sweet, and if doesn't, it's only $25. :twothumbs
