From what I've read

supercharger is less expensive

turbo will give you more power

no lag with supercharger

it's all about what your end goals are

Personally, supercharger whine = <3

Men get superchargers.

If you are a girl then go turbo.

If you properly size your turbo, you wont have much lag...

Even with a larger turbo, the lag is no longer than a second... literally... and will yield that much more power..

Stay away from the "heaten", lol but serious the supercharger is a Heat soak. It depends on your goals and what kind of driving you plan on doing but if you want to do a serious build Go turbo... with a properly sized turbo you wont have any huge lag issues and it is much more efficient

honestly depends on what ur goals are...high horsepower..go turbo but if u want a loud whine and heads turning go supercharger it offers great power and u dont have to worry about all the piping and oil lines and having to let ur car run fora minute before u can shut it off..also the eaton wont cause as much trouble as far as its a self contained unit that once its on u dont have to check oil levels or service it at all. then again turbo go sppggsshhh when u get out of throttle which is the cool thing and everybody is doing it so yea ur choice.

Supercharger takes power to make power. But i would go with the supercharger. The ss coblats supercharger will bolt to the 2.2 motor with a few simple mods not sure bout the turbo.

This site is prob not the best place to ask which to get, because there are a lot of turbo nut huggers on here that say supercharging is a waste. Also, that goes for supercharged people as well. You just need to look into what you want. Both forms of forced induction can be made fast and powerful. It just depends on how deep your pockets are ....

The only oil level you need to worry about is the one in your engine, as thats the same oil supply your turbo uses. If your telling me that couplers dont break, and rotors dont get chipped, your nuts... You must maintenance a s/c just as much as a turbo, just differently.

Wow... running piping, and attaching it with silicone coupplers is SOOOOOO HARD... wow.. never thought anybody would ever be able to do that...

You only have to let your car sit if you run it hard... If you dont produce boost for about 2 minutes of driving before shut off you dont need to idle it either...

This is the best answer... Its not about how deep the pockets are (yea.. it is... kinda) but its about if your willing to spend the money to get what you want... You can piece together a turbo kit for about 2500 bucks..

Its all about what you want in a car... And how you want it to perform... Some worry about exiting corners.. some worry about just going straight...

Power wise.. the turbo will ALWAYS make power power... But depending on how you want the car to act, the supercharger can make power where a turbo cannot.

If you s/c, you need a different intake manifold, and probably should change your exhaust manifold..

If you turbo.. you need a different exhaust manifold.. but depending, you dont really need to change your intake manifold...
