Fouled PLUGS with No lift upshift?!?!?!
Fouled PLUGS with No lift upshift?!?!?!
whenever i am at 100% trottle and i shift normal (let go of gas, engage clutch, engage gas) i sometimes get a misfire and studdering from my 2009 ss/tc. but if i no lift up shift from 1st to 2nd it is almost guarentied that i will get a CEL for misfire on one or all cylinders. EVERY FRIGGIN TIME!
brought it to the dealership they "cleaned" the plugs and told me to drive it and see if it happened again and of course it did. does anyone else have this problem with this bad of misfires? if i rev the motor to 4k and let it sit there for about a minute or two then drive it hard there are no misfires cause i burnt all the excess fuel and sludge off the plugs. we used to do that with the other turbo cars that sat around on the dealer lot.
do you know if any flashes take care of this problem of over fueling with no lift up shift?

i use sunoco 94 octane. and i checked the plugs myself and there were dark speckles them. i even changed the plugs to autolite platiums with .035 gap like the book states and the car still studders and the plugs looked speckled after about a 5 minute drive.
Cel is on for random misfire, 301,302n and 304 again within the week. What dealership just cleans sparkplugs and puts them back in and says, we have no idea, fo and see if it does it again. Now I got to go back again for the same problem and spend anoth $25 for a rental for 5 days while the dealership sits there and scratches their head.
You are not sopposed to run platnum plugs on a boosted car. You should be running iridium plugs are stock plugs.

I'm bringing it back to the dealer today. I counted 5 seperate flashing cel lights over the past 2 weeks. That is 5 problems to many. I have the chevy rep and district technician coming to look at it this week. Hopefully they can come up with a solution. Plus both my door click over bumps. They said it wasd the door latch and said they fixed it but now they both click. And the passenger door is still rubbing the paint off the body of the car. Yay
