One issue fixed, peace out Autometer!
One issue fixed, peace out Autometer!
Using the how-to I just corrected one of my issues on my recent purchase-

Factory Autometer was dead, solid 6psi all day everyday-

After owning multiple Autometer's and SW Max Perf series I decided to give GlowShift a try despite their somewhat cheap appearance. I browsed reviews, became confident and ordered up the 7-color tinted series-

First order of business was ripping off the factory retainer that only the factory gauge seems to line up with, this went easy and looks flawless-

Only wiring I had to do was a constant power for the GS, I used a mini add-a-circuit as I enjoy the protection and not bastardizing any of my factory wiring, I found one and tapped in-

I snipped the factory plug from the Autometer to use it's ignition and ground, wired it to GS accordingly, this is with the line ran too ready to go (notice I loomed it too)-

The loom allowed me to hide it under factory wiring, I then tapped it into the correct source and proceeded to zip-tie that out of view-

Blue showed up the best for the pictures, so eh, it's a 7-color deal so at night we'll be seeing red-

Further away-

I'm satisfied, enjoy!
