Okay, i have a set of stock 18 inch wheels off of an SS....


I'm about to buy tires, i found a set of 215/35 R18's... Will they fit?? i heard the stock was 215/40 ... idk what the diff is... if ne1 can tell me what sizes would fit these rims i'd greatly appreciate it!!!

Second Q is , The wheels were Powdered black, the ENTIRE wheel... will this affect mounting??... the part that the rubber goes over is also powdered ....

 

Yes they will fit,no it won't matter

 

sidewall will just be a little shorter

 

like in a bad way?? i just ordered them, they were a really good deal compared to the 215/40's and 45's.... they were almost 100 bucks cheaper

 

Shouldn't be any problem with a smaller sidewall.
