I just got my injen in on my 2.2L and was going to install it tonight, i know i want to run it down in the bumper instead of Shortram right now but the only question i have is

DO i have to take the bumper off to hook up the filter or is there a easier way?

no, what you can do is under your bumper there are small 1/4" screws, you can unscrew those and drop down the underbody plastic

i ended up taking the fender lining off to take the plastic bong/ resonator out then took the passenger headlight out to get the filter on. piece of cake.

It is a lot easier to just take out the passenger headlight and mount..then you have all the room you need to put on or change your filter. No need to take out the plastic wheel well.

yeah, try running it under the headlight mounting bracket. idk for sure, but that'd probably be fairly easy to do.
