195 and 205 are the tread width. If you want a lower profile you should get bigger rims.

In the tire sizes the first number is the section width and the second is the sidewall height as a percentage of the width. The third number is the rim size.

So for example a 200/50/15 would be 200mm wide, 100mm sidewall, and fit a 15" rim.

For visual purposes the 195/50/15 will look lower profile, but only by about 5mm radius.

QFT (twice even )

The 195 50 will be a bit shorter AND a bit narrower than a 205 50

You can likely get down to a 35 profile on a 15" rim but why? The tire will either be too wide for the rim (and handle like crap even if you manage to get the bead to seat) or too small in overall diameter (and look like crap).

Get some 17" or 18" rims and tires if you want to go low profile, get the looks and the handling at the same time.

I just bought brand new 15'' motegi sp10 rims. they look fine now. I was just thinking about a low profile, but they would look like **** because they would look extremly small. they're not bad looking. theyre pretty big because a few people had asked me(before looking at the tire size) if they were either 16's or 17's and i told them they were 15's. they said they looked good. plus i want going to go to 18's anyways. i was only intrested in the 16's but when i look them up, there was virtually no VISUAL difference between the 15's and 16's.

Yeah, 15"'s with low pros is going to look like one of those low riding hydraulic hopper cars - without the low riding part - wheel openings are going to look HUGE.
