Belt Squeak with a new Stage2 belt????

Stupid noob question here, but why am I getting belt squeak all of the sudden a few weeks after installing a brand new Stage 2 belt? I used some belt dressing and it stopped it, but why was I getting it out of nowhere like that on a new belt?

its possibly off one rib on the a/c or crank pulley

Just keep drenching it with belt dressing, is it just breaking in or what???

Will belt dressing cause slip on the SC belt? Does anyone know? I don't want to be spraying this stuff on here if it does, I haven't experienced any, but I just want to be cautious.

If it continues, I'm going to check it out... actually I'm going to check anyways

The supercharger pulley sits slightly to the left of the other pulleys, that's all I can think of, it is flush with the shaft though. The belt dressing seems to be shutting it the F up.

Anybody here think it's the tensioner going bad, what is a surefire way to check?

the s/c pulley must be totally, 100% in alignment with all other pulleys. If it is not the belt will squeak and eventually slip and break.

I just installed a stage 2 belt on my 2.2 SC setup and I don't have any squeak.

If the pulley is flush with the SC shaft, then there's nothing I can do about it, so that can't be the case, you can't move it any more to the right?

It's probably just the tensioner.
