What part are you stuck on?

Can someone list the parts you have to take off to get the header in and out?

Im going to be taking off and installing one soon

Unbolt the Steering rack and slide it twoards the back. Than put the JBP header in upside down and it will go trust me.

with the pacesetter it went in smoothtly from the top not having to remove anything. the shitty part was getting the bolts on the studs

You cannot compare a vortex, to a pacesetter.. two COMPLETELY different designs..

What part are you stuck on? Saying you cant get it on doesnt really help us help you... not fitting right? bolts not lining up? What?

Look for the thread by deathscythe and his header testing.. he just installed the vortex he is open for questions..

well now i am having a large amount of trouble bolting it up now... The space between the bolts and the primaries is sooo small!!!

Doh... removing anything will only help. but it isn't necessary.

Simply face the header upside down, slide it thru and rotate.

Torq'ing down the remaining ten bolts is the hardest part due to the primaries.

will is lying then. he unbolted the steering rack.

my advice: stop where you are at, put the stock piece back on, but a different header, and try again.

I agree with stu bolt the stocker back on, sell that and wait for Deathscythes header testing to finish and buy the best one

ok how i did it was getting the old stuff out of the way. i did not unbolt anything at all......

then you can wiggle it in sideways and straighten it to mount against the head. once you have it on the head. start all the bolts. and just go threw in phases on tightening the bolts..... its gunna take time. and beer and pizza will defintely make it go alot easier.

just dont let it get to you! thats when **** start to go wrong. it took me maybe 2hours. and i ******* love it.

yes...

this header was merely for sound

I dont have a flow bench or anything

But back when I ran a full 3" catless exhaust on a 3" pulley.

I saw 13.5 psi @ sea level w/ this header

I bolted on the stock header

and still saw 13.5 PSI @ sea level

HPTuners doesn't lie...

---

Tis merely a sound mod
