System incomplete/unready, NYS inspection help
Hey, hoping someone can answer a quick question.
If you have a code disabled with Hptuners, such as the P0420 for a high flow cat, could you still "ready" the system check IF YOU PUT THE STOCK DP back on?
My EVAP system is incomplete due to an unknown issue i havent started to chase, and since you cant have 2 incomplete systems in NYS(only 1), putting my stock header/dp back on will be easier and cheaper to pass inspection IF the system will check ok. So I'm just wondering if having the disabled code will cause the system to always show "incomplete" on the scanner. Thanks guys!
EDIT: Put the stock header/dp back on, took 280 miles of driving to get the 02 system to "ok" itself. Inspection passed!
