Bad Clutch Pedal Feel

So, the balt is gone. BUT I have a burning question that is bugging the **** outta me.

I had THIS clutch (Centerforce DFX) installed on my car. Should have grabbed with a gorrilla-like grip, but didn't. Also, the pedal pushed in very easily and the clutch had a very high grab point when releasing. This meant that if I put my foot on the clutch even a little, the clutch would disengage. It made fast shifting very hard.

I noticed plenty of people on here putting in performance clutches... some of them put their own clutch on. The shop that installed it works on drag cars... WTF!

What was the installer doing wrong!?

bumpity

huh. who knew.

Thanks a bunch.

The guy at the shop did elude to the fact that part of this contradiction of how much race experience they have and the trouble they had with my little 4-banger was due to the fact of the newer "technology" that GM decided to put in our cars. Basically they made it a pain in the butt to mod.

Thanks again.
