What Do You Guys Think About These Rims?

alright... i'm looking into buying some new rims for my black cobalt ls coupe. I have found some that I really like, but the weight is 25 lbs. each, right up there with the SS rims. I think they would look really awesome on my car, I just don't know about the weight. I don't even know how much the steelies I have on now weigh. Anyways, here's a picture of the rims i'm looking at.

what i meant to say was that the SS rims weight 25 lbs. I don't have an SS, that's just what i know about the rims. I have the 2.2, and the rims are available in a 4x100 as well... that was just the picture they had! so now that i've cleared it up... what do you guys think?

unless you're gonna turbo or supercharge your ls i wouldn't worry about wheel weight. if you like them then get em.

I plan on procharging it when a kit comes out. Will the weight of these rims effect this in any way?

i think they are really really nice. my personal opinion with wheel weight is i get the wheel that i like regardless of weight. when i build my all purpose track/race car, then i will worry about wheel weight but for now i wanna look good while going fast so i would just make more power to offset the wheel weight. just my opinion

but yea i am curious as to how those r going to fit ur car as ur a 4-lug--EDIT!!! saw they come in 4 lug

if you don't mind, i would like to see some pictures of your car to see what those rims look like on it. i like the style of rim but i don't know what they would look like on my car. and i'm a big fan of the 5 spoke rims... that's just me.

Rims look pretty good...I'm not sure what the steelies weigh either, but when I put in my KN filter, my SS tire and wheel felt about the same as my Pontiac tire and wheel.(15"steelie) I know that the steel wheels weigh more than your typical same-sized aftermarket wheel.

i don't think i'll be missing out on the lip that bad. and i would get 19's if they had them... unfortunately 18" is the largest size this wheel is offered in. I like the overall look of them and just wanted everyone's opinion. i probably won't even have them until the end of the summer, so i have awhile to think it over. and i also think 18" is a good enough rim size for my car... at least for now.

why are you concerned on how much they weigh then if you really wanted to get 19's? that just tells me that you really just want them for looks so i say who cares how much they weigh and just get them since they will be for looks anyway.

i've seen 19's that weigh less than these do anyways. the reason for getting the 19's would be to fill up that damn gap, but also be a lightweight wheel. since i can't find any 19's that fit my style, i plan on just getting some 18's that i like and weigh a little more. i found some other rims that i'm looking at now from Rota, they're just like these, but instead of the gold color, they're gloss black with a polished red lip. i think the red lip would be kinda cool too!

Nice rims and the weight, you will probably not even notice, and I like the Motegi's, I'm looking for gloss black with a chrome lip but hard to find one for my bolt pattern and in 19's.

these 19's only weight like 16lbs each. don't know if they will fit a 2.2 though.
