Funky Electrical Problem?

Hello all, I'm new here but I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to help me out with a problem that I've been having with my 2007 LT. The problem has two facets - 1) The front-left speaker does not produce any sound, and 2) when activated, the turn signals do not make any clicking noises to notify me that they are on. The green arrows still blink, the signals still work, there is just no click.

And here's the kicker: Once in a while these problems will resolve themselves, but never separately. When the signal clicks the speaker works. But when one is broken so is the other. But this is very rare. I've been experiencing these problems for at least four months and it has fixed itself maybe four times, never for longer than I have the car on. Next time I start it up it's back to broken.

I'm not extremely knowledgeable when it comes to cars and electrical systems, but I'm also not an idiot, so if fixing this on my own would be even a slight possibility I would appreciate any input that you might have. I don't really have the money to take it to a dealership because it's a minor inconvenience, all things considered.

Thanks in advance!

Adam

Replace the speaker,. problem should be resolved. I'm pretty sure the door chime and blinker both run thru the left front speaker...

I'm pretty retarded when it comes to cars, so what's a hu? I'm going to go with stock, though, cause I've never put anything aftermarket in the car.

Could be possible that the speaker is fried, although when it (occasionally) works it sounds fine. How do I check about this harness?

Thanks for the super-quick replies!

Nah, I bought it new. Can I find a guide for taking off the trim in the how-to forum?
