i have this "rattling" noise comin from the intake side of my cylinders and its a repetitive sound. does this sound like a rocker? and how hard is it to replace? and how much do these cost? any help is appreciated

sure it's not the injection system? the DI high-pressure systems are very noisy.

 

ya i know the di sytem this is louder and a faster rattling noise....

 

Then it's probably a chain tensioner or something. Rocker motions and injector function are the same speed basically, once per 2 rotations.

 

does gm sell rockers for the lnf?

cobalts have rollers , they shouldnt make noise possibly a bad lifter

 

What 'mods' do you have that you feel wouldn't let you get covered?
