Twincharge goes racing!

Wednesday started out pouring rain so I just figured another race day canceled, but this being Michigan it cleared up and we were pumped to go race. Since this was the first day out on the new setup I wasn't quite sure how the car was going to act. We got down to US131motorsports park and it was empty, sweet, but that could mean minimal track prep. We were right the track just wasn't there. The first pass I took it easy to feel the car out and ran 11.947@118.78 with a 1.8160ft. @ 23psi. The second pass I got a little bit more aggresive and spun bad which resulted in a 12.00@120 @ 23psi. The third pass I hooked better and ran 11.742@123 with a 1.7760ft @ 23psi. Our goal for the day was to run
11.40's but the track just wasn't there so we turned the boost up to see if we could reach our goal. At 27-28psi the car ran 11.49@128 with a 1.787 60ft. We definitely passed our mph goal and just reached our e.t. goal, not bad for the first day with a new setup. Thanks as always to the kick ass crew at ZZP!

The head, cams, and block, compression etc. are all stock, sorry the head has valve springs.

Ryan...... you have "spring blockers" right? is this a product ZZP sells or is developing? i'm assuming they are like drag bags minus the air bags.

Yes I do have them and I don't think that we will be releasing them. I think some people might think they can drive around on them and we don't want the responsibility. I know most people wouldn't but you get what I am saying. This could change, so it's not set in stone.

bad ass, I knew those twincharged setups were capable of some fantastic times. Just need to get on a prepped track and get the power to the ground better. 128mph is a 10sec slip waiting to happen.
