(Xenozx 06 SS/SC) OK, Mine came today and I am about to finalize the install. Installing the two plates is a breeze. My questions concern the dampener itself.

It talks about being factory set to 14 mm. I want to make this a big tighter like 11 or 12. It also talks about torqueing Heim Join to 25-30 lbs. How exactly do I measure this?

I also understand that you dont use the metal washers, and I should make it look like the pic below right?

 

I also installed my strut bar, and there is no need to tighten those bolts to a particular level right? I just tightened till tight and called it a day.

 

Well I learned I needed a torque wrench. Wow those things are expensive. Well anyway I have one with the right socket so that side of things I understand now. Its too dark to finish the install so I will tomorrow.

anyone have any suggestions prior to me starting this tomorrow? Anyone whos already installed theirs?

This is the measurement you need to do.

 

DO NOT USE THE METAL WASHERS they failed to tell you this but they posted it on the forums. Take them off completely. i just tightened until snug...
