Best offset for the SS

Well since I don't do any auto cross, or racing really I decided to purchase adapters so that I can fit the highly popular 5x114 bolt pattern. *Don't tell me its not safe, I know the issues*

Anyhow which is the best offset for these cars? I want the best offset to give it that aggressive look it it. I plan on having a 8 wide rim and im debating on which rims to go with but they will be either gold or black.

^^^ That will put an 8" wide wheel dead flush with your fenders. I had 8's with +38 last year and they were perfect.

Be careful doing that with Progress springs. Your tires will likely rub on the back fender whenever you hit a bump. Flush looks best!

8" with +38 offset

8.5" with +38 offset

Thanks. The tires on the 19's are 235/35/19 Nitto Invo's. They are super quiet and the ride comfort is awesome because they don't have a crazy stiff sidewall. I would recommend Invo's to anyone.

also guys remember i got to use a adapter so that will add thickness to the main hub. So bumpin balt what offset works for you may not work for me.

Umm, do the math? Not many people are insane enough to use adapters!

There are some decent 5x110 wheels out there, you just have to look REALLY hard!
It took me 6 months to decide on the ones I bought.

^ so your back wheels width is 8.5 and the front is 8, doesn't that make your understeer even more?

No. I have had 2 different sets of wheels in the past 2 years, not including the stockers!
