Your stock exhaust is 2.5 (except for the over axel part, which reduces to 2.5) With a turbo set up you may want to look at a 3 inch exhaust set up though.

dude you have five threads on exhuast, all basically asking the same thing.

2.5" is best for NA
3" is best for non-NA (turbo, supercharger, nitrous)

Shortly headers are good for high RPM
mid for mid
long for low end power

the muffler is 95% per looks and sound.

stop making a new thread for everything little question the answers are here man. just search really quick.

as for the stock exhaust it is 2.5" except for the over axel part where is is reduced to 2.25". Since you are an 08 like me, you have two cats. So your biggest power gain will be in a new header and downpipe. If you get a high flow cat or no cat you will at some point get a check engine light. it will probably just be that you cat isn't up to the right temp. At least that is what mine is.

Yes get header and downpipe then just replace the 2.25 axle section of your exhaust with 2.5 inch piping and throw on a aftermarket muffler then you'll have a full 2.5 inch exhaust for cheap.

yes, the small section of pipe isn't that bad, the header and downpipe are by far more restrictive.

if you plan on turbocharging your car, then save up and get a 3" system.
