2.4 Torque Dampener?

http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...dcategory=5615

That is all I can find but it fits the 2.0. Now, is there any real difference? Will this fit on the 2.4? Thoughts?

Only issue is if you have a short ram intake, such as the K&N, which interferes with it. Other than that, it will work, I have one. Works well.

Yeah I wont have to worry about that. Is there a significant difference with it?

With the damper fairly tight(10mm-12mm) it does help if you launch hard and spin much. Keeps the wheel hop at bay. Also, shifting is a tad more smooth. I'd imagine because there is less movement of the engine to mis-align things. Trade off is a few more cabin vibes at low rpms, but nothing terrible. At full loose setting, nearly 0 vibes, but really it doesnt help much with wheel hop. Just my experience.

Anything that helps reduce wheel hop is great in my book. Has anyone had issues with it?

I cant really think of a reason that it would cause any problems. Where exactly does it mount on our engines anyways?

If you do not properly align the damper with the brackets, it can bend the brackets and not work properly. That is about the only issue I've heard of.

Tranny mount inserts and a real engine mount completely eliminate wheel hop.

Grab the TTR Engine mount/Tranny inserts and they change the complete feel of your car. If you get both done at the same time, vibes will go down to a minimum within a week.
