I'm not sure how much power exactly but they're ridiculously lightweight. You'd think the power to weight ratio is a mistake.

I hate your friend. I have wanted one of those since I saw them first demonstrated at the GM Desert Proving Grounds. I was 8 at the time, and they hadn't officially released them to the public yet.

Nice pics, but need video of you two at the track.

He just got the truck not to long ago.. like a month ago.
He got a killer deal on, but it has a lot of miles.

He paid 9,500 for it, and it has 117K on it. It runs awsome for a dead stop. His best track time with it is a 13.6. I havent raced him yet because my car is having some funky electrical problems right now, but hopefully will be fixed next week.

Hes actually kinda scared of the bolt... only because he knows i have some goodies stacked up for it

Nice pictures. A guy that works on base with me has a mint Typhoon. He just fully built the motor, and he's looking to run 25psi and 6 second 1/8's. I wish I could get my paws on the cyclone though.

He shouldn't be scared! $700 worth of parts and likely you would never catch him! I have seen low mile stock ones run low 13's! Boost controller is all he needs and he better hold on!

Yeah, those things can be scary with a few mods. They have a shitty tranny... its like the only downfall in their entire system. He is only working part time right now, so he has no desire to mod right now.

just to clear some things up i had a syclone about 3 months ago i was hit by a lady not looking at where she was going and it was totaled. insurance couldnt find another one so i got a check for more than i paid for it and bought a ss cobalt. Those trucks are soo fun. 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. they are all wheel drive v-6 turbo. they have 280 hp but everyone says there under rated by gm and the put out about 330. i dont know why some one said that there very light weight but i had to have mine weighed when i bought it and it weight 3520 lbs. i ran a 13.4 at 96 mph in mine the 0 to 60 is why there soo fast. on street tires i was launching at 13to15 psi and i was getting a 1.78 60 ft. but from a roll at about 90 my buddys stock vr6 gti would start pulling from me. and yes the stock 700r4 tranys in these trucks suck you can break them pretty easy with the stock engine.

I just realized that my neighbor has a syclone, I don't think he's had it long though. I just noticed it.

It's lightweight for a truck, especially compares to today's vehicles. An 04 S-10, base model still pushed 4100 lb.
