alright, i have am 08 chevy ss/tc and i have no sweet clue on what kind of tuner to get for it. so if anyone has some words of wisdow....... it would be greatly appreciated.

Trifecta best bang for $ and simple too!

 

i got the superships cortex tuner its nice. its not a crazy aggressive one. but you sure feel a difference. i went from stock 15psi to 21psi boost.

also removes launch control from 5something k to 4,000krpm and can raise rev limiter if ya wish

Please search,this has been beat to death. Why don't you just ask how the GM stage tune is while you're at it too.

 

Trifecta if a "good" HPT'r is nowhere to be found.....

 

HP Tuners (home of the fastest and highest HP Cobalts PERIOD)
Trifecta (great, switchable, and easy)
SuperChips (easy to use, slower than the other 2, but can be driven hard without worries)

super chips is junk! i was running only 0.0769 sec from someone with it when i was on stock tune.

A person here went 13.1 with a superchips tune......junk??? Nope

 

yeah that's just a poor driver...not that I'm much better but with the Superchips I did hit a 13.79...and that was with a relatively awful 60 ft...Although I have gone even faster w/ my new tune!

 

Excellent driver there to pull pull off a 13.1 at only 105 mph.

 

the best is hp tuners. however vince from trifecta has been doing amazing things with the boush ecu and seems way more dedicated at further development then hptuners. really hptuners should hire vince lol

there a LNF on here thats runing 12.2 with a trifecta tune thats pretty awesome

 

12.2 is nice but the balt is not a dragster. i like what vince has done dont get me wrong but terminators hp tune is sooo nasty. gm should have let him tune the balt. the power curve is brilliant. the thing i dont like about most peoples trifecta tune is that huge hump in the middle of the powerband. it doesnt make sense to me. you dont want to be spinning tires at 4k in 3rd just to have the power drop off after 5k. imo terms tune will beat you in an autocross course but trifecta will eat you on the strip

I agree ......lowish trap for that ET = driver . Is the superchips tune the best.......nope ...not in the same ball park as a custom tune .......but far from junk like someone stated.

I have a sc tune intercooler piping and cold air intake and i run a 13.61/4mi with a 2.25 60ft and 8.7 1/8mi and about to order 18' micky's do to a crappy track and im about to buy trifecta tune witch will help to i hope for 13.4 if not better......but the sc tune is a good tune to good afr's and you have better fule mile's.....but trifecta is a stronger tune......
